No Moon at All
Everything Happens to Me
That Old Feeling
Born outside Chicago, Liz grew up in the Boston area. Her interest in music began at a young age with performances in several choral groups, local jazz big bands and in numerous musical theater productions. At fifteen, she began writing original songs, performing her work locally. Receiving classical vocal training in her teens, Liz also performed at several music festivals on the east coast.

Her studies continued at Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory, where she attended workshops with such masters as Bob Stoloff and Livingston Taylor. While living in Boston, Liz sang and recorded with multiple local musicians in styles ranging from Jazz and Funk to House and Drum 'n' Bass. For four years, Liz lent her talents as lead vocalist and songwriter for Boston-based original Funk/Soul band The Bus. The band released two CD's on the Madpan Records label and frequently played at popular Boston area clubs, as well as touring primarily the east coast.

After relocating to the Bay Area in 2001, Liz attended classes at the Berkeley Jazz School and the Stanford Jazz Workshop. While there, she had the pleasure of working with jazz masters such as Madeline Eastman, Deena DeRose, Mundell Lowe, Larry Dunlap, Kurt Elling and Mark Murphy. She continues to study privately with Kitty Margolis.

Most recently Liz has been performing at multiple area jazz and blues venues including Bistro Yoffi, Zingari Lounge, Jazz at Pearl's and Octavia Lounge, as well as at private events with the Bay Area's top talent.
